I have met a lot of brewers in my day as a beer blogger, but one of my favorites is my friend Jesse Ferguson at Carton Brewing. Jesse used to be a hip hop producer at Definitive Jux before jumping into the brewing boots and has worked with a lot of great artist’s some of which are my absolute favorite. I always look forward to talking about hip hop with Jesse when I am down at the brewery. Whether it’s talking about classics, or mentioning upcoming shows that we should attend, it beats talking about beer all day while we are making it. A nod to Jesse and his background, I decided it would be nice to share this photo of him, working with barrels in the basement at Carton Brewing.
